what is the fate of our malay traditional architecture or malaysian architecture, if there are such?in the healthy spirit of adopting iconic global hyperaccelerated development in architecture, it is however very necessary for the malay/malaysian architectural characters and cultures to remain meaningfully regional.
local architectural characters and cultures MUST NOT be let to become less important or less necessary in the context of global communications. it must be preserved to display the different, for it’s interesting and surely for it’s vital potentiality.
